RWAs, Industry & Trade Associations, Administration and Traffic Department Discuss Measures for a Smooth and Successful 4th Edition
Greater Noida, 11 September 2026: With the 4th edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2026) set to take place from 25–29 September 2026 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, a high-level preparatory meeting was convened to review arrangements and address key requirements for ensuring a seamless experience for visitors, exhibitors and the local community.
The meeting was chaired by Shri Manglesh Dubey, ADM, Gautam Buddh Nagar, and attended by Shri Sudeep Sarcar, ED (Corporate) & CEO, India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML). It brought together representatives of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) of Noida and Greater Noida, industry and trade associations, district administration and the Traffic Department. The discussions focused on strengthening coordination among all stakeholders and ensuring that the large influx of visitors expected during the five-day international trade show is managed efficiently.
The RWA representatives shared valuable suggestions aimed at enhancing the overall visitor experience, particularly with regard to parking, public transport and commute to the venue. The discussions centred on making commuting more convenient for residents as well as visitors and ensuring that the increased movement of people around the India Expo Centre & Mart is handled smoothly. The suggestions were welcomed as an important part of the collaborative preparations for the upcoming edition.
The meeting with representatives of industries and trade associations focused on the business opportunities emerging at UPITS 2026, particularly with the participation of five countries — Russia, Austria, Japan, Singapore and Vietnam. Industry representatives were apprised of the wider international business opportunities that the participation of these countries is expected to bring, opening avenues for trade partnerships, sourcing, investment and market linkages.
Particular emphasis was placed on the B2B meeting facilitation mechanism available through the UPITS 2026 App. Industry and business representatives were informed that buyers and exhibitors can use the app to identify relevant business opportunities and schedule B2B meetings in advance, enabling more focused and productive business interactions during the show.

The meeting subsequently moved into a detailed review with officials from the district administration and Traffic Police, focusing on the operational preparedness required for managing traffic and visitor movement during UPITS 2026. Key issues discussed included traffic diversions, VIP movement, transport facilities, parking management and traffic flow around the venue. The administration and traffic teams also deliberated on road conditions and potential waterlogging-related issues, with the objective of identifying timely solutions and preventing inconvenience to commuters and visitors during the event.
Shri Manglesh Dubey, ADM, Gautam Buddh Nagar, said, “With UPITS 2026 expected to welcome around 5 lakh visitors across its B2B and B2C segments, comprehensive planning assumes greater significance. This time, besides ODOP, another initiative of Uttar Pradesh Government, ‘One District, One Cuisine’ (ODOC) will get huge traction. It will showcase the traditional cuisines and delicacies of the State. The scale of the event has grown substantially with every edition, making coordination between the administration, local communities, traffic authorities, industry bodies and the organisers an essential component of its success. He appealed to people to participate in the event as buyers and visitors to experience what Uttar Pradesh has to offer and grab the opportunity in their hometown to flourish their respective businesses globally.

During the meeting, Shri Sudeep Sarcar, ED (Corporate) & CEO, India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML) informed that the international footprint of UPITS 2026 is also expanding significantly. Foreign buyer registrations have already been received from 72 countries, with registrations continuing to grow as the show approaches. The participation of international buyers, alongside the presence of partner countries and global business organisations, further strengthens UPITS’ position as an important platform for connecting Uttar Pradesh’s products and enterprises with international markets.
The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show has emerged as a distinctive model in the Indian exhibition landscape — a platform where the industrial, commercial, handicraft, agricultural, food, textile and emerging strengths of an entire state come together before a global audience. More than a conventional exhibition, UPITS has evolved into a state-wide marketplace for business, sourcing, investment and international partnerships, bringing together enterprises from across Uttar Pradesh with buyers and business communities from India and abroad.
As the fourth edition approaches, the focus remains firmly on creating an experience that is business-ready, visitor-friendly and globally connected. The preparatory consultations reflect a collective commitment to ensure that UPITS 2026 not only showcases the strength of Uttar Pradesh but also delivers a smooth and rewarding experience for everyone who becomes part of its growing global business ecosystem.
