Greater Noida, September 28, 2026: The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2026) has, in just four days, given a new global identity to Uttar Pradesh’s trade potential. The five day international trade show, being held from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, has cumulatively recorded 3,765 business agreements (MoUs) worth ₹5,500 crore, approximately USD 574 million, by September 28. In addition, business enquiries worth ₹12,500 crore have been generated by buyers and companies from India and overseas. With the final day of the show still to come, the figures for business transactions and participation are expected to rise further.
According to Suvidh Shah, Additional Director General, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), a total of 35,387 business-to-business meetings had been conducted by September 28. Of these, 11,887 meetings took place during the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM) organised for international buyers, while 23,500 B2B meetings between domestic and international buyers were recorded in the main exhibition area. These interactions have provided entrepreneurs, manufacturers and exporters from Uttar Pradesh with direct opportunities to engage with buyers from India and across the world and explore business agreements.
The 3,765 MoUs and ₹12,500 crore in business enquiries recorded over four days indicate that UPITS has moved beyond being merely an exhibition. It has emerged as an important business platform connecting Uttar Pradesh’s products, entrepreneurs and manufacturing capabilities with markets. Entrepreneurs from the MSME, One District One Product (ODOP), handloom, handicrafts, agricultural products, food processing and modern manufacturing sectors are gaining direct access to domestic and international buyers through the platform.
Alongside robust business activity, UPITS 4.0 has also witnessed significant public participation. According to official cumulative figures up to September 28, the trade show recorded a total footfall of 5,48,881, comprising 1,56,523 domestic business buyers and 3,92,358 general visitors. The presence of a large number of buyers, entrepreneurs and visitors has kept business activity vibrant across the various exhibition halls at the India Expo Centre & Mart.
UPITS 4.0, organised in line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘Local to Global’ vision, was inaugurated on September 25 by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This edition places special emphasis on connecting Uttar Pradesh’s industrial capabilities, local products and entrepreneurship with global markets. Direct engagement with domestic and overseas buyers, together with business agreements, has opened up new market possibilities for the State’s MSMEs, ODOP enterprises, handicrafts, handlooms, agriculture and manufacturing sectors.
With the figures recorded up to September 28, the concluding day of UPITS 4.0 assumes added significance. As the show enters its final day on September 29, business agreements, enquiries, B2B meetings and overall footfall are expected to increase further. The achievements of the first four days have once again brought Uttar Pradesh’s growing industrial and trade capabilities into sharper focus within the national and international business landscape.
