Greater Noida, September 29, 2026: The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 concluded on Tuesday, setting new records in investment, business and global participation. Held at India Expo Centre & Mart from 25 to 29 September, this five-day mega event gave the state’s products, MSMEs and exporters a strong presence on the international stage. During the event, 4,400 MoUs, worth around US$680 million, equivalent to approximately ₹6,500 crore, were signed. In addition, potential business worth around ₹15,500 crore has been estimated based on business enquiries received during the trade show.
According to official figures from the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), a total of 41,500 B2B meetings were recorded this year. Of these, 13,500 meetings took place in the Reverse Buyers-Sellers Meet (RBSM) area, while approximately 28,000 business interactions were recorded in the main exhibition area. Through these meetings, domestic and international buyers directly worked out the framework for long-term business partnerships with the state’s entrepreneurs and manufacturers. Over five days, the trade show recorded a total attendance of 5,98,693 visitors and business buyers, comprising 1,74,990 domestic business buyers and 4,23,703 general visitors.
Organised in line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, UPITS emerged this year as its most extensive edition to date in terms of both business and participation, compared with its previous three editions. Every major business parameter witnessed a substantial increase compared with the previous year (2025). Against the 31,650 B2B meetings recorded in 2025, the number reached 41,500 this year, registering an increase of 31.12 per cent. Meetings with foreign buyers in the RBSM area recorded a sharp jump of 123.1%, rising from 6,050 to 13,500. Meanwhile, meetings in the main exhibition area increased by 9.38 per cent. The number of MoUs signed rose by 12.82%, from 3,900 to 4,400. The most notable increase was recorded in the estimated value of the MoUs, which surged by 142.54 per cent, from ₹2,680 crore ($425 million) to ₹6,500 crore ($680 million). With a 24% increase in business enquiries as well, potential business was estimated to have risen from ₹12,500 crore to ₹15,500 crore.
The trade show’s international reach was also wider than ever this year. While Russia was the sole partner country in the previous edition, this year a total of six countries participated as partner countries, including Russia, Austria, Japan, Singapore, Belarus and Vietnam. Foreign delegations showed particular interest in the state’s manufacturing, IT, electronics, textiles and agri-food processing sectors.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ambitious “One District, One Cuisine (ODOC)” scheme remained the main attraction among foreign and domestic buyers throughout the event. Celebrity-led culinary experiences added another dimension to the initiative. The ODOC Hall remained abuzz throughout the five days, with visitors exploring regional delicacies, traditional recipes and local food enterprises. The response demonstrated that a district’s culinary heritage can become much more than a cultural identity—it can create opportunities across food entrepreneurship, processing, packaging, hospitality, tourism, branding and retail. Master Classes by Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi and other renowned chefs drew enthusiastic participation from visitors and exhibitors alike, combining culinary knowledge, live demonstrations and entertainment
Traditional crafts, handloom products, brass products, carpets, the leather industry and distinctive agricultural products from the state’s 75 districts gained direct access to the global market. With MSMEs and local artisans receiving direct orders from international companies, the event’s business character proved to be more practical and result-oriented. Overall, the event has proved to be a concrete and significant milestone towards making the state a one-trillion-dollar economy.

As the fourth edition drew to a close, UPITS 2026 left behind more than footfall and business statistics. It demonstrated a model in which government policy, enterprise, exports, international sourcing, technology, tradition, cuisine and culture can converge on a single platform. Student participation also remained integral to UPITS 2026, with young minds engaging in quizzes, MUN, MIME, art & culture activities, cyber security and road safety awareness, and Battle of Bands. Participation from schools across Delhi-NCR added youthful energy to the show while connecting students with industry, innovation, creativity and real-world learning.
The buzz that began on September 25 continued until the final hours on September 29. As the curtains came down on UPITS 2026, the fourth edition concluded not merely with targets achieved, but with a larger benchmark set for the future.
