





Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Announced the 4th Edition of Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2026)
UPITS 2026 to Showcase Uttar Pradesh's Industrial Excellence, Investment Potential and Global Trade Leadership
Noida, June 27, 2026: The Government of Uttar Pradesh officially announced the 4th edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2026) at a grand Curtain Raiser ceremony held at the Noida Authority Headquarters, Sector-96, Noida, on the occasion of MSME Day 2026. The event was graced by Shri Yogi Adityanath, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, in the presence of senior government officials, industry leaders, exporters, entrepreneurs, representatives of industry associations and the media.
The Curtain Raiser marked the formal launch of the fourth edition of UPITS, scheduled to be held from 25–29 September 2026 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. On this occasion, Shri Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Hon’ble Minister for Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI & Investment Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Shri Bhupendra Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister for MSME & Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha; Shri Jaswant Singh Saini, Hon’ble Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs & Industrial Development, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Shri Brajesh Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Uttar Pradesh; Shri Hansraj Vishwakarma, Hon’ble Minister of State for MSME; Shri Shashi Bhushan Lal Sushil, IAS, Principal Secretary, MSME & Export Promotion; and Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Exposition Mart Limited, were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Yogi Adityanath, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, said, “Uttar Pradesh has emerged as one of India’s fastest-growing economic powerhouses, driven by progressive policies, robust infrastructure, a thriving MSME ecosystem and a strong export-oriented vision. And that is very evident at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show, which has now become a powerful platform in a very short time. It showcases the State’s industrial capabilities, connects local enterprises with global markets and reinforces our commitment to making Uttar Pradesh a preferred destination for trade, manufacturing and investment. UPITS 2026 will further strengthen the State’s journey towards becoming a global sourcing hub. This edition will witness greater participation and engagement from government departments and authorities, making the event more comprehensive and impactful. A special highlight of UPITS 2026 will be the One District One Cuisine (ODOC) initiative, celebrating Uttar Pradesh’s rich and diverse culinary heritage by showcasing the signature cuisines of districts across the State, while promoting local food enterprises, traditional recipes and culinary tourism”
Addressing the gathering, Shri Bupendra Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister, MSME and Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh, said, “UPITS has evolved into one of the country’s most impactful state-led trade exhibitions, providing MSMEs, ODOP enterprises, startups, artisans and large industries with unparalleled opportunities to showcase their innovations, build business partnerships and access new domestic and international markets. The fourth edition will further expand these opportunities and accelerate industrial growth across the State. The event will serve as a strategic business platform where domestic producers, manufacturers and service providers will engage directly with international buyers, opening new avenues for exports, investments and global collaborations.”
During the ceremony, Shri Yogi Adityanath, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, also unveiled and inaugurated a series of landmark industrial development initiatives aimed at strengthening the State’s MSME ecosystem and export infrastructure. These included the foundation laying of MSME Cluster Parks in Raebareli, Mau, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh and Mahoba; the Trade Promotion Centre at Gomti Nagar, Lucknow under the TIES Scheme; the inauguration of the ODOP Common Facility Centre (CFC) in Varanasi; and the foundation laying of ODOP CFC Projects in Kaushambi and Gonda.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister also launched the upgradation of industrial estates at Kakwan Bilhaur (Kanpur Nagar), Bachhrawan (Raebareli) and Gaddhopur (Ayodhya), besides laying the foundation stone for new District Industries Centre buildings in Varanasi, Shamli and Amethi. As part of the programme, toolkits were distributed to beneficiaries under the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana and the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, while outstanding entrepreneurs were honoured with the Mati Kala Shilpkari Awards and Khadi Gramodyog Awards, recognising excellence in traditional crafts and rural entrepreneurship.
Over the past three editions, UPITS has emerged as a premier platform showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s manufacturing strength, MSMEs, ODOP products, exports, innovation and investment ecosystem. The success of UPITS has been reflected in its steadily rising participation and business outcomes. The 2025 edition attracted over 5,07,099 visitors, including 1,40,735 B2B visitors, and featured 2,228 exhibitors spread across more than 35,000 square metres of exhibition space. The previous edition welcomed more than 550 overseas buyers from 85 countries, facilitated through FIEO. The event has facilitated significant B2B engagements, international buyer participation, business collaborations and market access for enterprises across sectors.
The fourth edition is expected to witness participation from leading industries, exporters, startups, artisans, government departments, international delegations, institutional buyers and investors from India and abroad. The event will continue to strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s position as a preferred destination for trade, manufacturing, exports and global business partnerships.
The Curtain Raiser concluded with a vote of thanks, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to making UPITS 2026 the biggest and most impactful edition of the flagship trade show to date.
