Vietnam to Bring Business, Cultural & Cuisine Splendor as a ‘Partner Country’ at UPITS 2024

The 2nd Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), jointly organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Expo Centre & Mart, is set to take place from September 25 to 29, 2024, at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. This year, the event will showcase not only the vibrant trade and culture of Uttar Pradesh but also highlight Vietnam as the Partner Country, symbolizing the strengthening ties between the two nations.

His Excellency Nguyen Thanh Hai, the Ambassador of Vietnam to India, will attend the event, emphasizing Vietnam’s interest in exploring new business opportunities in Uttar Pradesh. This partnership aims to foster cultural and economic exchanges, further enhancing bilateral relations. During a recent review meeting, preparations for the Vice President’s visit to UPITS 2024 were discussed, including Vietnam’s role in the event.

Vietnam’s participation will feature a Vietnam-India Forum and a UP-Vietnam Tourism Conclave, aimed at boosting trade, particularly in the tourism sector. The rich cultural heritage of Vietnam will be showcased through traditional music and dance performances, enriching the event’s international atmosphere. Attendees will also indulge in authentic Vietnamese cuisine, famous for its unique flavours, with dishes like pho, spring rolls, and banh mi.

Beyond culture, Vietnam will present high-quality products and innovative manufacturing practices, including textile demonstrations at its pavilion. This collaboration not only highlights Vietnam’s cultural wealth but also presents business opportunities for stakeholders from both nations.
